2009 is really a good year for Archipelago. Archipelago will soon release their much-awaited first album "Travel Advisory". Then, Archipelago gets mentioned in the LA Times Blog in the article, Travis McCoy's 'life-altering' journey for MTV's Staying Alive campaign One of Travis' stops for the Unbeaten Track is Metro Manila where he was able to include Archipelago in his encounter.

Sugarfree Dekada will be having its series of concerts on August 28 and August 29. Tickets for August 28 are already not available so, if you are planning to purchase tickets, please do it ASAP.

SM Malls are not selling Sugarfree Dekada tickets. You may want to try your luck at some National Bookstore Branches at some Robinsons Malls. But if you want to be sure, purchase directly at the Music Museum where the concert will be held.

And so, it seems that I overlooked my Twitter when Paco Arespacochaga (of Introvoys) posted a tweet on bringing the Eraserheads to California this year. Details are still being finalized.

As you might have known, "Dinig Sana Kita" won the best original musical score for this year's Cinemalaya Film Fest. Francis Reyes, also known as Francis Brew in NU107, is the one who did the musical score for the film that was directed by Mike Sandejas.

Every October of the year, Oktoberfest is being celebrated here in the Philippines. This year's Oktoberfest will have more surprises for the consumers. For this year's celebration, they're offering nine brands so that consumers will have a wider selection. In addition, there will be a TV game show dubbed as "The San Miguel Beer Barkada Challenge” which will be aired on GMA7. The show will start on October 5 (Monday to Friday) and it will be hosted by Michael V. Of course, street parties will be held nationwide with the Oktoberfest kicking off on September 4 in San Miguel Avenue, Mandaluyong City. Read more for complete details.

Last Wednesday, Duster had a shoot for their music video "Gucci Girls" at Club Dredd, Eastwood. The music video is directed by Nico Puertollano, Katwo's husband (the vocalist of Duster). The concept of the music video is simple. Everyone's in their party clothes with a lot of dancing going on.

The Wave Goodbye World Tour of Nine Inch Nails Manila leg just ended last night. A lot are on a high while some would have wanted to hear their favorite NIN song live. Pupil opened the show last night.

Pupil will be playing tonight as the front act for the Nine Inch Nails concert to be held at the Araneta Coliseum. The concert is organized by Splintr.com. The name of the tour is "Wave Goodbye".

Pupil is Ely Buendia, Yan Yuzon, Dok Sergio and Wendell Garcia. They had their last rehearsals yesterday for the show later.

Duster, who just released their album "Sweetheart Snackbar" will have a video shoot tomorrow for their song "Gucci Girls". Their first music video is Dek-a-doodle-dandy, the first single of their album released under Sony Music Entertainment.

Tomorrow, we'll be dropping by at the video shoot to cover the behind-the-scenes of this highly-anticipated music video.
