MTV Emerge is a platform for unsigned music in the Philippines. In their website, you will be able to showcase your talent. MTV Emerge is a collaboration between MTV, Jeepney Music and DOT (Department of Tourism).

"Higante" Music Video to premiere tonight on Myx

"Higante", the first single from the album "In Love and War" by Ely Buendia and Francis Magalona will have the premiere of the music video tonight on Myx at 7pm. Watch out for it!

As for the date of the album launch, the target date is still on Kiko's birthday (October 4).

Chicosci's "Fly Black Hearts" Grand Retail Launch Tomorrow

The local rock scene is very much alive. Just last week, The Dawn and Archipelago had an album launch. Tomorrow, Chicosci will have a grand retail album launch tomorrow at Odyssey in SM Megamall, 6pm. Chicosci will be there. If you want to have your CDs signed after buying the album "Fly Black Hearts", you can have it signed there as well.

"Black Box" by Archipelago, next music video to watch out for

"Black Box", a song from Archipelago's recently launched debut album, will be releasing its music video soon. The directors who will be involved in creating the music video are: Marie Jamora, Anocha Suwichakornpong and Ming Kai Leung. The three directors were classmates at Columbia University. The filming of the video will be in three different places namely, Manila, Bangkok and New York City. The plot of the music video is a story of two women, in parallel, who have lost their respective lovers in a plane crash.
